Orford Ness National Nature Reserve

Take the National Trust ferry on a short boat trip [for which there is a charge], to this wild and remote shingle spit, the largest in Europe. Visitor trails; guided tours; children's quiz trail. Ferry tickets are limited and can sell out early - follow on Twitter to check ticket availability. The ferry operates between 10am - 2pm with the last one back from the Ness at 5pm
