James Tanner- Chairman
James is the Town Council Chairman and also sits on the Lands, Finance and Infrastructure Plan committees, also on the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Team.
James was born in Melton and grew up in Framlingham, attending Thomas Mills High School. After studying at UWE Bristol and London Southbank University he worked in London for a numbers of years before moving back to Framlingham. James is a Surveyor and works in a practice based in the centre of Framlingham and also lives within the town centre with his partner Armelle. They live with their two daughters, the eldest of whom is currently attending Sir Robert Hitcham’s Primary School with the other down to join the nursery in due course. James is a member of the Rotary Club of Framlingham, a keen amateur cook and on a mission to improve his golfing inability, when time allows. Joined the Town Council in 2015.
