Bob sits on the PR & Markets, Lands and Planning committees, also Friends of Framlingham Library rep.
Bob is a widower with two grown-up children. He was born and bred in Essex and moved to Framlingham in 1994. For several years he chaired the Framlingham & District History & Preservation Society, and still serves on its General Committee, as well as editing, since 1997, the Society’s Journal Fram. He is the Minute Secretary of the Lanman Museum Trustees and chairs the Framlingham and Debenham Branch of RNLI. In the wider world Bob is on the Council of the British Records Association and is a Trustee of the Housing and Homeless Central Fund, and serves as Archivist to a City livery company. Most of his working life as a Chartered Librarian was also spent in the City, where he was Deputy Director of the Corporation’s Libraries and Art Galleries for 13 years. Joined the Town Council in 2011.
