Following UK Government advice we have stopped holding Church Services in the Framlingham Town Library, and now we meet online – currently using Zoom. (The information here changes from time to time as we learn to use the technology – do check back.)
Services (by Zoom) are held at 10:30 am (UK time – currently UTC/GMT) on Sundays, and at 7:30 pm on the first and third Wednesdays of the month when we hold a Testimony Meeting. Meetings are open from about 15-10 minutes before the service starts.
To join our Zoom service the meeting number is: 324-628-0764, and the password is currently: 01728
The Sunday service lasts for an hour, and features three hymns, some readings from the Bible, and some reading from the book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, written by Mary Baker Eddy. There is time for quiet prayer and peace.
A Sunday School in Christian Science can be provided, for children upto the age of 20. This will be held by appointment, by DBS approved members of the Society – we suggest at 11:45 on Sunday after the main service. Get in touch with the Clerk to make arrangements.
The Wednesday meeting is even more informal and features some readings and then some sharing of how Christian Science helps us in our everyday lives.
Our current correspondence address is:
The Clerk, Christian Science Society, Framlingham 16 Gorse Lane, Reydon, SOUTHWOLD, IP18 6NG
Phone: 07 899 639893 (our mobile telephone number)
All are welcome, whether you are a long time student of Christian Science, or would like to just to come and listen. Our services are very simple, and require no participation – but we’d be very happy if you sing with us!
Christian Science is the name given to this Christian religion which demonstrates that Jesus’ teachings and healing are as available today as 2000 years ago. We believe in a God of Love, the teachings of Jesus, and the spiritual nature of all reality. Our God is Father-Mother to us all.
