Pay and display parking meters were installed in Market Hill and The Elms car parks on Monday August 3rd as part of the East Suffolk Council move to Civil Parking Enforcement throughout the whole district.

The scheme was due to be in operation in Framlingham by April this year but has been delayed, largely due to Covid-19 restrictions.

The meters are not yet “live”. During the coming weeks information boards will be erected showing parking charges and conditions, and then a date will be announced from which point the new charges will be imposed and enforced.

East Suffolk Council has not yet given us this date – it will be made public as soon as it is known.
