Framlingham Bridge Club01728 602938|
We are a small Duplicate Bridge Club which started in 1977. Christmas Day seems to be only reason for at least some of us not to fore-gather and play, not because we are hugely or terrifyingly competitive but purely because it is enjoyable. The ethos of the club is friendly and relaxed apart from occasional bickering about the state of the stationery cupboard.
Visitors and guests are welcome and as we run a host system- partnerless players are no problem.
Club night is on Monday, start of play is 7pm sharp. Table money £1.00, Visitors £2.00.
Wednesday afternoons (2pm start of play). Table money of £2.00 includes tea or coffee. There is a duplicate session with fewer boards played in the session, usually around 14-18 in total. At present EBU master points are not awarded for this session. Alongside this there are tables for learners or those wishing to practice, or to hone their partnership bidding system can play – help and tuition is available on demand. You do not need a partner to join in.
The Conservative Club provides a comfortable home for us. Not only is there a largish recently re-furbished room, but also a well stocked fully licensed bar or tea and coffee. Please click here for more details about the Conservative Club.
