Work started today to remove the Laurel hedging on either side of the Cemetery pathway in preparation for the resurfacing of the whole pathway, which will commence early in the New Year. The Town Council has agreed not to consider any further action on  the suggestion of converting the entrance to the cemetery into a car park. Therefore it will remain a pedestrian entrance with only authorise vehicles permitted. Removing the hedge will reveal the mass of primroses that grow on either side in the spring which is a wonderful sight
