A huge THANK YOU to all our sponsors and the many volunteers who turned out to help with the Soap Box race yesterday, which was a great success with over 35 entries and some spectacular carts of all shapes and sizes. It was a fabulously sunny day with exciting racing all afternoon.

Lots of helpers were there early in the morning putting up signs, barriers and straw bales as well as stewarding during the event, and then the final clean-up with many people hand-sweeping the route! The remaining straw will be cleaned up today when the mechanical sweeper comes to town courtesy of Suffolk Coastal Norse.  A special thank you to the Framlingham Baptist Church who kept all the stewards fed and watered.  We couldn’t do it without you all!

Winners: Adult – Acceleramus; High School – Mills Monster; Junior – The Whatfield Bullett; Best cart – Trekll.
All received a hand-made trophy and the Junior winner also received a giant Jelly Baby!

Our photographer Simon Garrett has compiled his favourite selection of photos he snapped which are now available to view HERE!

THANK YOU and we look forward to NEXT YEAR!
