The Crown Hotel
The Crown Hotel is a family run business at the heart of the local community.
A charming 16th century coaching inn steeped in history with exposed beams, wonky walls and squeaky floors. Located at the top of the Market Hill, The Crown is the perfect base to explore Framlingham itself as well as the local countryside and it's only a short drive to the coast.
They offer characterful accommodation, a well stocked bar and relaxed restaurant serving good quality pub grub. ''We strive to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for everyone to enjoy no matter what the occasion''.
Rooms at The Crown are all individually styled, each with its own charm and the three executive rooms at the front of the hotel will give you a beautiful view of those stunning Suffolk sunsets in the summer months (along with a Birdseye view of the Market Square - perfect on market days!). Throughout the building you can also cosy up to the open fires in our downstairs lounge area during the winter.
Needless to say, The Crown are dog people and there will more often than not be a pooch at reception! Dogs are welcome almost everywhere so be sure to let them know if you wish to bring your four legged companions (or just pop in if you're passing!).
The Crown is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner (with an early closing time on Sundays).
With a beautiful function room at the rear of the building you can also hire a space for larger occasions such as birthdays, weddings or wakes.
