Framlingham is an historic market town with a good selection of cafe's, pubs and restaurants. There is also a surprising selection of independent shops and a host of outlets with local arts and crafts. If you like walking there are plenty of opportunities, we have the Town Trail or there are many footpaths in and around the town affording stunning views of the Suffolk Countryside. A walk round the Mere is a must, but wear wellies if is winter. The magnificent 11th Century Castle is famous for having housed Mary Tudor and was deeply involved in England's Royal history, and close by is Easton Farm Park, both venues offer great days out for all the family. There is a market on Tuesdays and Saturdays where local producers such as fishmongers, butchers, bakers and greengrocers sell their fresh produce.

Monday mornings there is the market and auction house at Campsea Ashe run by Clarke and Simpson. Auctions lots vary from antiques, bric-a-brac, to live poultry and vegetables. Campsea Ashe also boasts our nearest main-line train station with services running to Lowestoft, Saxmundham and Ipswich where a connecting train will take you to Liverpool Street.

We are near 'The Suffolk Heritage Coast' being only 14 miles from Aldeburgh and 20 miles from Southwold, both places have beaches, fish & chips and all the beauty of this coast.
