Eileen Coe
Town Clerk / Responsible Financial Officer
Eileen is our full-time Town Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer. Eileen is available in the Town Council Office at 10 Riverside Framlingham for public consultation every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am – 4.00pm, and at other times by prior arrangement. Eileen was born in Bedfield and has lived in Framlingham since 1965. She is married to Kevin and has four children. A qualified freelance hairdresser in the town for many years she more recently worked for English Heritage as Custodian at Framlingham Castle. Eileen has been Town Clerk/RFO since 2001 and is the Designated Premises Supervisor for the Market Hill and has a Personal Alcohol Licence. She also holds the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) and is an Associate of the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management. In her spare time she is a keen gardener, enjoys reading, walking and swimming and has two dogs and four cats.

The Framlingham Town Councillors are local, receive no payment and are not to be confused with District (East Suffolk) or County (Suffolk) councillors who have political affiliation. All Councillors are required to comply with the Code Of Conduct and register their interests.

There are currently vacancies for Framlingham Town Councillors and there will be a By-Election held on 6th May. Notices and information will be published nearer the time on the Notice Boards and www.framlingham.com website. In the meantime anyone interested can access information on the Town Council including agendas and minutes HERE.
