John sits on the Finance / Strategic Planning Committee (Chair), Rights of Way and the Highways & Lighting committees John was born in Oldham, Lancashire and moved to Framlingham in 2012 after living and working in both the Netherlands and France since 1991. John is married to Sylvia, herself a Lancastrian and they have 3 grown up children. He is now retired, having been employed in the motor transport industry for most of his working career. A Management Accountant by profession John held various senior management positions specialising in financial and logistics planning, a profession that allowed him to travel extensively. His interests include gardening and D.I.Y and he enjoys walking, cycling and watching sports. Joined the Town Council in 2014.
