The World Button Pairing Championship, presented by Friends of Framlingham Library, took place on Market Hill this morning. Folk were queuing up to try this ultimate test in mind-body co-ordination, concentration and nerve! Showing its all in the genes, the winners of the 11 yrs and under class, and over 12 yrs class came from the same family. The 3rd member of the family was in the lead until 5 minutes towards the end when she was pipped at the post by just one more pairing! The winners were thrilled to receive handsome trophies which would grace anybody’s mantelpiece, along with vouchers for the Fairtrade Pop-Up stall which will be in the Library next Saturday 16th, during the Library’s Open Morning with scrummy cakes and FT beverages.   The event raised £105 for the Friends of Fram Library.
